Boyzlife are coming to Britannia

Get your boyband fix this summer as Boyzlife join Britannia for five nights in August

Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, now Boyzlife

Brian McFadden of Westlife fame and Keith Duffy from popular band Boyzone joined forces last year to form new musical sensation, Boyzlife. And we’re thrilled to announce that the band will be performing in Britannia’s Limelight Club for five nights in August. Guests will be treated to an exciting show packed full of untold stories from their days on the road, as well as popular Westlife and Boyzone hits such as ‘No Matter What’ and ‘Flying Without Wings’.

Both Westlife and Boyzone were multi-platinum, record-breaking bands that stole the hearts of many from the late 1990s onwards. During Brian’s time in Westlife, the band secured a record seven straight Number 1 singles and 12 UK and Ireland Number 1 singles in total, as well as four Number 1 albums. Brian’s debut solo ‘Real To Me’ topped the charts in the UK, Ireland and across Europe, becoming one of the biggest radio airplay hits across the continent that year. As a member of Boyzone, Keith has enjoyed incredible success, being part of Europe’s most successful boyband during the second half of the 90s.

Keith Duffy is no stranger to Britannia, having participated in last year’s reality TV cookery programme, Battlechefs, which was filmed on board. ‘We are very excited to be taking our sell-out tour to sea and entertaining Britannia’s guests with music and stories from life with our respective bands,’ he says. ‘After 20 years on the road, we’ve grown up and it’s great to be able to look back, reminisce and give our fans the inside story of how we felt at the time. I am especially delighted to be back on Britannia after filming Battlechefs last year, but this time I will be swapping my chef’s hat for a microphone.’

P&O Cruises senior vice president Paul Ludlow said: ‘At P&O Cruises, we are constantly looking at new ways in which we can enhance the experience of our guests. Our guests already enjoy world-class entertainment on board all our ships, but I believe they will be especially excited to see such a high-profile act as Boyzlife in the intimate setting of Britannia’s Limelight Club.’

Boyzlife will be performing in Britannia’s Limelight Club on 12-16 August 2017, the first five nights of Britannia’s 14-night Spain, France and Italy cruise, departing from Southampton. Tickets for each show cost £49 per person and include a three-course meal.
