P&O Cruises raises a staggering £2,000,000 for Macmillan

Thanks to the support of guests and crew, P&O Cruises has raised £2,000,000 for charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are enormously grateful to our guests and crew

We are absolutely delighted to announce that thanks to the hard work of our crew and the support and generosity of our guests we have raised a phenomenal £2,000,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Over the past five years our guests have been to coffee mornings, voiced midday announcements, had fun at various ship events but above all and with a big heart you have all given your time and money very generously to this charity which gives practical and emotional support to so many at the time they need it the most. We are enormously grateful to you all.

Whilst the partnership with Macmillan is ending, P&O Cruises is continuing to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust which gives specialised nursing care and support to young people diagnosed with cancer. It is a very special charity which builds specialist units providing a "home from home" environment in hospital. It also funds specialist nurses and youth support teams who are experts in teenage and young adult cancer. They work within the Teenage Cancer Trust units and in other hospitals and in the community and are able to respond to the unique needs of teenagers and young adults. We are very proud to work with Teenage Cancer Trust and hope that through the partnership with P&O Cruises we can raise much needed funds so they can continue their amazing work.
