Teddy Mountain

Souvenirs are an important part of any family holiday. For children, a cuddly memento can stir memories of wonderful times away for years to come – and all the better if it’s something they’ve made themselves.


To help you find the perfect souvenir, P&O Cruises has introduced Teddy Mountain on board all our family-friendly ships. Teddy Mountain is an interactive stuff-your-own-teddy-bear store that helps children create memories by building their new furry best friend. With locations across the globe, it’s hugely popular with children of all ages, allowing them to get creative and customise their toys to match their unique personalities.


The idea is simple: visit the Teddy Mountain kiosk on board, choose an unstuffed soft toy and fill it yourself using the supplied fibre filling. The Teddy package includes an unfilled bear of your choice, a fibre pack for stuffing, plus a heart insert, birth certificate, passport and backpack.


The toys include everything from rainbow-covered teddies and pink unicorns to dinosaurs and elephants, and youngsters can further customise their creation by purchasing outfits, shoes and accessories, plus sound boxes and ‘AromaBearapy’ scented pouches.


Teddy Mountain kits can also be purchased to take home for children to build their own bear anywhere. The kiosks will be in place on board our family-friendly ships throughout the summer.


Please note tax and duty free shopping is available on cruises that call at a port outside the EU. On intra EU cruises 20% VAT will be added to the majority of purchases made in the shops.



Whether it’s to kick-start your morning or as a relaxing treat at the end of a busy day, a great cuppa is a crucial on-board companion. That’s why we’re proud to introduce teapigs teas across all our ships.


teapigs are on a mission to get you drinking real tea. Their discerning tea taster, Louise, selects only the best-quality whole leaf teas, whole berries, whole herbs, flowers and spices for their teas, which have won more than 70 Great Taste Awards.


A selection of teapigs teas is now available to buy in our coffee shops, select bars, some deck bars and in our pubs. The superb range covers traditional black teas such as everyday brew and earl grey, as well as green, rooibos, herbal infusions, functional ‘feel-good’ teas and some adventurous blends such as chocolate flake tea – well worth a try if you’re seeking something a little different. We hope their range of teas delight you as much as they did us during our own taste tests!

Anderson’s Gin

 In celebration of 180 years of P&O history, P&O Cruises has blended our first-ever gin. Named after P&O co-founder Arthur Anderson and crafted in Edinburgh at Summerhall Distillery, Anderson’s Gin is now on board for your delight. Just a single sip will swoop you to far-flung places, fragrant with the heady aromas of Eastern spice, tinged with sharp Mediterranean citrus flavours and a deliciously spicy dry lingering finish. Eleven botanicals born from P&O’s historical routes – including juniper from Italy and cardamom from India – have been copper distilled to create a superbly smooth and lightly spiced gin.


Anderson’s Gin is distilled, bottled, labelled, waxed and shipped from the Scottish distillery. The bespoke bottle design was inspired by traditional nautical charts, with a nod to our gin’s namesake… if you look carefully, you’ll even spot Arthur Anderson’s silhouette.


Fittingly, the tipple was launched on World Gin Day on 10 June. On board, choose from two new gin cocktails made with Anderson’s Gin: the Anderson’s Discovery, combining Aperol, fresh orange juice, honey and Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic Water and garnished with coriander, or Arthur’s Summer Punch with sloe gin, lemon curd and cloudy apple juice. Or, for a simple but exotic sundowner, try the Perfect Serve made with Fever-Tree Tonic Water, a slice of pink grapefruit and cardamom seeds.
