Grown-up glamour on Arcadia, Aurora and Oriana

Exclusively for adults, Arcadia, Aurora and Oriana offer a stylish, serene and sophisticated cruise holiday. Read on to discover which ship is right for you…

Enjoy a stylish, serene and sophisticated cruise

Elegant dining in a romantic restaurant, tranquil moments sipping Champagne on deck, peaceful afternoons spent by the pool… If you’re looking for a truly glamorous getaway, a cruise on one of our ships reserved exclusively for adults is just the ticket.

While all our ships offer amenities and activities for adults, Arcadia, Aurora (from March 2019) and Oriana (until August 2019) provide a sophisticated experience exclusively for guests aged 18 and over.

Aurora is a mid-sized ship with plenty of personality, offering a wealth of opportunity for indulgence. And while she’s currently a family-friendly ship, she’ll become exclusively for adults in April 2019 after a refit in March.

Sailing on Aurora means sailing in style. Her incredible Atrium spans four decks and is dominated by a 35-foot sculpture that provides an impressive backdrop to the elegant double main staircase.

Foodies are spoilt for choice with two main restaurants, as well as three Select Dining venues: Sindhu, The Glass House and The Beach House.

At more than 30m above the waterline, The Crow’s Nest cocktail bar offers the best views on the ship. By day, sit back and watch the sea float past. At night, the bar comes into its own: grab a cocktail and reflect on the day’s events as the sun goes down.

Keen to kick back and relax? The Crystal Pool is the prime place to lounge, with a retractable roof for relaxing swims in any weather. The pool has two adjoining hot tubs, as well as a bar. For the ultimate in relaxation, visit the Oasis Spa. Unwind in the sauna and steam rooms, bliss out with a hot stone massage, or treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure ahead of an elegant night out.

Aurora’s first cruise after becoming exclusively for adults will sail to Portugal, the Canary Islands and the Azores. Later in 2019 she’ll travel to the likes of the USA and Canada and the Baltic

Arcadia is affectionately known as the fleet’s ‘Indulgent Explorer’, and you’ll see why as soon as you step on board this elegant mid-sized ship. She combines the chic with the classic in stylish surroundings with more than a hint of extravagance, along with a wonderful blend of features tailored to relaxation and pampering.

Her signature features create a sophisticated air. Exterior glass-fronted lifts are an eye-catching focal point, while an expansive art collection features no less than 3,000 works of art.

Arcadia offers unforgettable experiences at every turn. There are over six places to eat, including Sindhu and The Ocean Grill, where you can also enjoy Afternoon Tea by Eric Lanlard. Plus, there are more than nine places to socialise and enjoy a drink. Make your evening that little bit more special with a visit to Intermezzo, an exclusive cocktail and Champagne bar. A three-tiered theatre and a boutique cinema, meanwhile, offer sophisticated entertainment.

The fact that Arcadia is exclusively for adults and mid-sized makes her the ideal luxurious globetrotter. Her size allows her to embark on port-rich and carefully curated itineraries that offer immersive cultural experiences and stunning vistas. Her 2019 World Cruise offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience: 31 destinations in 99 nights, taking you everywhere from Sydney to Singapore to the Suez Canal. Oriana offers traditional cruising at its best. While she’ll be leaving the P&O Cruises fleet in August 2019, there’s still time to sail on her before next summer and bid her a fond farewell.

Oriana is a unique ship with an incredible character. She has all the charms of classic cruising: her signature tiered stern decks are reminiscent of ocean liners of the past, and the broad teak Promenade and Lido decks and Art Deco Tiffany glass ceiling add to the rich, classic ambience on board. Stepping on board Oriana is like stepping into the golden age of cruising, but with many contemporary touches and dining choices.

There are plenty of places to relax and unwind. Stretch out on deck and watch the world go by, play a hand or two in the card room or curl up with a good book in the wood-panelled library. The spa is situated by the elegant Riviera Pool and offers aromatherapy or massage treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures, all with spectacular ocean views.

Sindhu and The Beach House offer delightful dining options, while entertainment is taken care of across four venues and seven bars and pubs.

Oriana is our ‘Discovery Ship’. Her smaller size allows her to fit into ports where bigger ships can’t go, making her ideal for the more seasoned cruiser who wants to explore more exclusive destinations. Before she leaves the fleet she’ll embark on a 35-night journey to the Caribbean and Central America and explore the great outdoors in Scotland, Ireland and Guernsey, to name but two. Her farewell cruise sails to Norway and North Cape – a fantastic final adventure fit for a fabulous ship.
