About Mulberry

Mulberry’s identity is quintessentially British. The company was founded by Roger Saul in Somerset in 1971 and is now the largest manufacturer of leather goods in the UK. In that time its handbags have graced the arms of royals and celebrities such as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung, who even has a Mulberry bag – the Alexa – named in her honour.

Mulberry’s flagship factory and development centre, The Rookery, was opened in Somerset in 1989. It’s currently home to around 300 craftspeople, with many coming from the local community. In 2013 a new factory – The Willows – also opened in Somerset, creating over 320 new manufacturing jobs. Mulberry currently produces over 50 per cent of its leather bags in the UK, including many of its signature bags.

Don’t forget, with interest-free credit available for purchases over £500, you'll have an affordable and flexible way to spread the cost.
